Empowering Al-Quds Graduates: Freelancing for Sustainable Livelihoods and Income Opportunities
"Empowering Al-Quds Graduates" is more than just a training program. It’s a lifeline for young people in a city full of challenges but rich in potential. Led by BCITE at Al-Quds University, this initiative opens real, meaningful doors to the world of freelancing and digital entrepreneurship.
By the end of the program, participants will not only have new skills, but also a strong portfolio, a clear plan, and the confidence to earn income, attract clients, and build a sustainable career.
At its core, this project is about empowerment. It helps young people in Al-Quds turn their skills into opportunity and their ambition into a successful future.
Youth graduates, especially women, face high unemployment rates despite their high educational attainment. With limited local job opportunities and barriers to accessing traditional markets, freelancing offers a powerful alternative to create sustainable, independent income streams.
Through this project, you will:
Over the course of this hands-on program, you will receive specialized training in one of the following tracks:
60 hours of expert-led training to master selling online, SEO, advertising, and digital campaign strategies.
Learn professional video editing, storytelling, and how to create engaging multimedia content.
Build expertise in brand identity, logos, and design tools like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Each track includes 60 hours of expert-led training, followed by an intensive freelancing incubation phase where you'll set up your business, build a portfolio, and start taking clients.

Complete in-depth, hands-on training.
Work on real-world projects.
Learn to price services, manage clients, and deliver projects.
Build a professional digital portfolio on Qudslancer.

Priority will be given to women and recent diploma/university graduates.
